Who am I?

I'm Jodie, owner and hydrotherapist here at Tazza's Canine Hydrotherapy. I am a Level 4 Advanced Qualified Canine Hydrotherapist, and am registered with NARCH, the National Association of Registered Canine Hydrotherapists. I have worked continuously in the canine hydrotherapy industry since gaining my initial qualification in early 2023, have worked with dogs in other industries since the age of sixteen, and have experience with dozens of conditions, breeds, and temperaments of dog.

How we came to be...

You'll notice the peculiar name of my business; Tazza's Canine Hydrotherapy. Taz was my fur baby, and since the day he was brought home to me when I was eleven years old, I fell in love with my new best friend. It's fair to say he was the reason my passion for dogs began. Since I first met him, I knew I wanted nothing more than to spend my life around dogs, and- daughter to a dog groomer- I got my start at sixteen simply by spending time with my mum in her

dog grooming van. Since then I've worked in daycares, kennels, even a petting zoo.

But my true passion came to light in 2021 when I began studying canine

hydrotherapy.

There is nothing quite like seeing an old dog get back the pep in their step, or seeing

a paraplegic dog learn to walk again. Hydrotherapy can do this and more, and the

knowledge that I have gained in this industry helped my boy live a comfortable life

until he was fifteen years old (I should note he was a labradoodle!)

I wanted to set up this business to see him thrive in the water, but since I lost him

before I got the chance, I've named it in his honour so he can be with me to help your

dogs get through their toughest times.

I know how much our pooches mean to us, they are our family, there to help us

through thick and thin, and it's only right we should do the same for them.

Tazza's Canine Hydrotherapy is here for all dogs, big and small, young and old,

here to help build their quality of life no matter what stage of life that might be.
